Under the Surface: Pollution in the Tennessee River is an illustrated infographic I created for my Girl Scout Gold Award. With this project, my objective is to raise awareness about the pollution in the Tennessee River and educate people on what they can do to help. For context, as the fifth largest river in North America, the Tennessee River was found in 2017 to have between 16,000 and 18,000 microplastic particles per cubic meter of water.
